I was looking for another email and stumbled across this one whilst at work today it is a chirrup ad I posted last year with no success. Parts of it made me laugh because of how incredibly arrogant I sound, and other parts still struck a deep chord with me. I apologize for the seeming arrogance, as it is certainly not in my nature. I suppose I'll start with and likely concentrate on the portion that most directly concerns you, the audience of lonesome females. There was a quote, ...Chris measures himself and those around him by an impossibly rigorous moral code.. This jumped out and smacked me in the face for two reasons One, I never thought I would identify with the main character in the movie so quickly the quote was early on, and two, because of the word impossibly. You see, I am a bit of a conundrum. I could have a woman girlfriend if I wantedmy pick from a fair lot. I don't mean to self indulge here or anything, but I know I am not a bad looking guy. I'd say it's a fact that the average girl finds me to be at least pleasantly good looking. Unfortunately, this is not reciprocated. I find the vast majority of women to be unattractive, at least once I get to know them. I find many physically attractive, but the conversations usually dwindle quickly along with my interest. It seems many women, and men for that matter, just have relatively little interest in life, the essence of it. The joy, the excitement of living in it, of having unrestrained curiosityto seek the truthand to hell with the consequences. Perhaps this is part of my allure my almost unyielding assumption that any woman I meet will be ordinary, not meeting even the minimum of desired, well, self code. Alas, I digress...
